On Friday 17 March, I had the pleasure of winning the ‘One Trick’ Magic Competition at the South Tyneside International Magic Convention. This was a fun little competition performing almost exclusively for other magicians. I won the popular vote and was very surprised and happy to win the prize. I don’t really believe any two magic performances can be compared and judged in the way sports can, but it was nice to know a room of my peers respected and enjoyed my performance.
